The
OCDA Executive Board voted to establish a LinkedIn Group on the
LinkedIn site to facilitate networking among current OCDA
members. There is no cost to the member or to the OCDA
organization to participate.
One of the values of any professional organization is the
opportunity to network. The Board feels this is a major step
in creating networking opportunities within OCDA. Access to
the group will be managed by the OCDA Membership Chair.

- Once your OCDA membership is verified, you will get an email
message that you have been added to the group.
Want to join the LinkedIn OCDA group, but don’t have a LinkedIn
account?
- Go to www.linkedin.com.
- Home page has a link to join; provide requested information.
- You can provide the minimal information to complete your
profile; you have control over how much detail you provide. You
may want to provide more detail at a later time.
- A “Public Profile URL” is created when you set up a LinkedIn
account. You have full control over the amount of your LinkedIn
profile detail is available to the public. After you create
your LinkedIn profile, be sure to use the Edit Public Profile
feature.
- Once your account is established, you can join the OCDA
group by going to the "Search" bar at the top and search
"Groups" for "Ohio Career Development Association" or click HERE.
- Once your OCDA membership is verified, you will get an email
message that you have been added to the group
