OCDA will be continuing NCD month with a CEU eligible training. By attending this event, you are able to obtain 1 CEU. Join Taylor Slocum, MSEd., LPC, CPRW for a training titled "Designing Mentorship Programs that Incorporate Career Readiness and Self-Efficacy" This session will teach participants to utilize/apply the Self-Efficacy Theory when creating/implementing interventions with individual clients or groups, and with long term programs to help clients achieve self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-efficacy with accomplishing their goals (personal or career related). A case study of a mentorship program will be used to illustrate how to incorporate this theory using career readiness activities and opportunities to help clients be able to identify and feel more confident about their personal achievements when in professional settings.
